About Me
My name is Danielle and I'm glad you're here. My journey to motherhood was a winding road...unpaved, with detours...and signs such as CAUTION! FALLING ROCK or FOG AREA. There were many starts and stops, countless white knuckle situations, medical and holistic doctors' appointments, and deep breaths. I am an IVF mom, a mom of loss, and a stepmom. Needless to say, Life has given me a layered experience as a mother and I believe all roads have led me here. They say a diamond is only formed under intense pressure...maybe some mothers are too.
I am so grateful to be offering you support, comfort, and community in this part of your motherhood journey because it was those three things that made all the difference during my time of waiting, my pregnancies, and now postpartum. Some of my dearest friends and family couldn't "see" me the way some of those mothers could. It is my intention to hold space for you to move through all the feelings alongside others who can see you on your journey, because they are or were there too.
I began my yoga teaching journey as an integral part of my healing after the late pregnancy loss of my daughter, Viviana in 2018. I knew that with the completion of my yoga certification program in 2020 my yoga presence would blossom into exactly what it needed to be, when it needed to be...and it has.
At twenty-one years old, I walked into my first yoga class in a candlelit room in 2003 at Lourdes Sanctuary in Litchfield without a clue as to how much yoga would impact my life. Now, twenty years later and many years on the path to motherhood, I have arrived where I need to be.
And you have too.
~Welcome~
